Overview
The Sonora Highway, also known as California Highway 108, crosses Sonora Pass on the second highest mountain highway through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Travel this narrow and winding but beautiful road to see some of the most spectacular views in the region. It’s an unforgettable journey.
Driving Directions
Sonora Pass CA is accessed by driving the Sonora Highway (or Highway 108) from Sonora to Bridgeport, California.
To get to Sonora Pass from Yosemite, exit the park via Highway 120 and take Highway 49 to California Highway 108, turning right to Sonora. This is where the Sonora Highway begins, and it takes you over the pass and to Bridgeport, northeast of Yosemite Park.
