Overview
Dodge Ridge offers great skiing for all levels of skier, with 20% of the runs for beginners, 40% for intermediates and 40% for advanced skiers. A perfect ski destination for the whole family! The 1,600-foot vertical drop is just a part of the fun. There are 62 runs, three free-style terrain parks, and impressive snowfall. It’s not far from Yosemite, so you can combine your winter visit with some great skiing.
Location
Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is located at 1 Dodge Ridge Road in Pinecrest, California. To reach the resort from Yosemite, take California Highway 140 from El Portal, take a right on Highway 49 and another right onto Highway 108. Continue to Pinecrest Lake Road and take a right. The first right off of Pinecrest Lake Road is Dodge Ridge Road and the resort is just a few miles up this road.
Season/Hours
The typical season for Dodge Ridge skiing is from December through late March or early April with lift hours of 9 am to 4 pm daily during the season.
Mountain Services
When you ski Dodge Ridge, you’ll find many services available. For great dining, choose either Local’s Café on the mountain, or the eateries at the base of the mountain, Boulder Bar, Creekside Café or North Fork Bistro.
The Sport Shop offers all the best brands of ski equipment and sportswear for the discerning shopper. They even have a Demo Center where you can demo the newest skis, such as Salomon, Nordica and more. Find any rental equipment at the newly remodeled rental center.
